Entering Week 14 Arizona (10-2) is atop the NFC standings while LA (8-4) is fifth, holding a two-game advantage over the WFT and San Francisco. The Rams stopped a three-game losing streak last Sunday beating Jacksonville 37-7, shutting out the Jaguars after the break and limiting them to just 197 yards on offense. Which further proved the point that they are good against bad teams and bad against good teams. In 2021 LA is 2-3 against opponents with winning records and 6-0 against sub-.500 teams.

Both teams are relatively healthy. Rams’ center Bryan Allen is the most noticeable name missing while WR Cooper Kupp is dealing with a sore toe but is expected to play. For Arizona DT Zach Kerr is the only player who’s been held out of practice this week.

The Rams lead the all-time series 44-39-2. They were on an eight-game winning streak against the Cardinals until being demolished 37-20 in Week 4. Monday’s game may not be that one-sided but Arizona has the stage set for a statement and a chance to move closer to securing home field advantage in the playoffs. Sunday Night Football: Bears @ Packers – NFL Week 14 Predictions and Picks

As Aaron Rodgers is close to leaving Green Bay, this should be his final shot at the Bears to beat them and do it convincingly. 49ers @ Bengals – NFL Week 14 Predictions and Picks

In the midst of a playoff push, two teams that are hanging for their playoff lives are facing one another. Cincinnati (7-5) are tied for 5th in the AFC, while the Niners (6-6) are 7th in the NFC standings and another loss would drop them out of the wild card spots.

The Niners were riding a three-game winning streak but were shut out after the interval, losing 30-23 in Seattle after QB Jimmy Garoppolo's fourth-and-goal pass was tipped at the line of scrimmage. The Niners not only lost the game but also the leader of their secondary CB Emmanuel Miseley. He was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain and will miss a couple of weeks of action. San Francisco should welcome back LB Fred Warner but Dre Greenlaw is questionable.

The real problem for San Francisco though is whether WR Deebo Samuel will play or not. He is the heart and soul of the Niners offense and his absence due to a groin injury against the Seahawks was evident. Whether someone will play on Sunday against Cincinnati is yet to be decided. He missed both practices this week and his status is questionable. For the Bengals the biggest concern is whether QB Joe Burrow will be able to play. He injured a finger in his throwing hand during the loss against the Chargers and all the reports whether he will be available against San Francisco on Sunday are contradictory. But anyway with the Niners depleted defense and with Cincinnati’s high scoring ability this may very well turn into a shootout.

Bills @ Buccaneers – NFL Week 14 Predictions and Picks

Poor Bills just can’t catch a break. In a short week after playing in one of the windiest NFL games in recent history, Buffalo has to travel all the way to Tampa Bay to face defending Super Bowl champions. Last Sunday the Bucs beat Atlanta 30-17 and although it wasn’t pretty (Tom Brady threw a pick-six in the final seconds of the first half) they were efficient. They are still too good of a team to miss the playoffs and, with games against Atlanta, Carolina and the Jets to come, they should be able to hang on to one of the wild card spots. The only problem is that this is not the right time to face the Buccaneers. 

Moreover, the Bills are the favorite team for Tom Brady to beat. The Tampa Bay quarterback has more wins against the Bills compared to all the other 31 teams in the league. No wonder we bet on the Buccaneers in one of our NFL Week 14 picks straight up.

Cowboys @ WFT – NFL Week 14 Predictions and Picks

All of a sudden, the fight for the NFC East title has gotten a little more interesting than it should be. Thursday Night Football: Steelers @ Vikings – NFL Week 14 Predictions and Picks

Week 14 of the NFL season kicks off with a game between teams with playoff aspirations but currently out of the wild card spots. Steelers (6-5-1) are half-a-game out of the seventh spot in the AFC. Pittsburgh stopped a short two-game losing streak beating Baltimore 10-29 but got lucky very lucky in the end. Going for a two-point conversion with 16 seconds to go Ravens QB Lamar Jackson missed a wide open TE Mark Andrews in the end zone. And so the Steelers need just two more wins to secure yet another non-losing season for the head coach Mike Tomlin.

Tomlin was once part of the Vikings staff before going to Pennsylvania in 2007. As Vikings’ HC Mike Zimmer was a defensive coordinator for the Bengals for six seasons, the two have a long history facing each other. Tomlin is 9-4 against Zimmer including a 26-9 victory over the Vikings in 2017.

Minnesota will be without RB Dalvin Cook and WR Adam Thielen. LBs Anthony Barr and Erick Kendricks are questionable after already missing the Detroit disaster. It’s too many injuries for a team that is 29^th against the run and 29^th on the ground. The line is in Vikings’ favor but that’s only because of the home field advantage. With a 3-2 record in Minneapolis that should barely matter on Thursday.

This game has all the makings of an under. But I’ll back the Steelers because of the Vikings’ inability to put away teams.
